Best Wired Headphones For Elliptical Workouts
The Everdigi Wired Ear-buds are super affordable wired ear bud headphones to keep in mind.
They are great for exercising, but just keep in mind that the sound quality and durability are not the best in the world.
Everdigi Wired Ear-buds: QUICK OVERVIEW
As the description of this product itself notes, the Everdigi Wired Ear-buds have “adequate” mid-range frequencies, bass, and vocal sound qualities. So, in other words, the sound quality of these headphones is mediocre at best.
However, when you are exercising, the sound quality may not be all that important. What is nice is that they are noise cancelling, so at least they block out outside noise for a louder volume.
- The Everdigi Wired Ear-buds do have a button to control music and calls, plus they have a hands-free microphone so you can take calls when needed.
- They also have an ergonomic design with soft ear tips that suction into your ears, so they are comfortable to wear and won’t wall out when exercising. That said, they are also not the most durable headphones around.
- They are sweatproof, which is nice for working out.
- Very cost effective
- Stay in place securely
- Comfortable to wear
- Sweat proof
- Cant beat the price (very affordable)
- Questionable durability
- Sound quality is mediocre at best
Our runner up for best wired headphones for elliptical are the Conambo CQ4 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones.
These headphones cost about 3 times as much as the ones we just looked at, which is still not very much at all. These are over-ear headphones, and not exactly ear buds, so they are a bit chunky and heavy.
Conambo CQ4 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones: QUICK OVERVIEW
- These headphones are pretty much the opposite of the other ones we just looked at. Now, the Conambo CQ4 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones do have pretty good sound quality, which is quite surprising considering that they are still very affordable.
- They are also noise-cancelling headphones, so you will easily be able to hear your music while the whir of the elliptical machine is blocked out.
- They are adjustable for size, so you can make them fit properly, but they are over-the-ear headphones, they are big, and they are heavy. So, while they do have good sound quality, they are not exactly the best for high-paced workouts. On a side note, they do come with a really good warranty.
- Good sound quality
- Big and bulky
If you are on the hunt for very affordable headphones which are specifically designed for sports and exercise, these inOpera Audio A1 Headphones Wired Earbuds are a pretty good option to keep in mind. They don’t cost much, they have an OK sound quality, and they are durable and comfortable enough for exercise too.
inOpera Audio A1 Headphones Wired Earbuds: QUICK OVERVIEW
The inOpera Audio Wired Sport Earbuds in-Ear Headphones Line-in... have a premium alloy housing, which makes them fairly durable; they should be able to handle being dropped a few times, as they are quite tough, but not to the point of surviving being stepped on.
Moreover, the inOpera Audio A1 Headphones Wired Earbuds are made to be sweat-resistant, so your sweat does not damage them while working out, plus they are also corrosion resistant.
- The InOpera Audio Wired Sport Earbuds are noise isolating, which means that they cancel out outside noise to ensure that the whir of your elliptical machine does not overpower the volume. At the same time, while the sound quality won’t match a $300 pair of headphones, it is still more than good enough for basic exercising needs.
- They actually have surprisingly good audio quality, especially in terms of bass and treble.
- The inOpera Audio A1 Headphones Wired Earbuds are quite comfortable as well, as they are very lightweight and barely noticeable. The soft ear pieces fit in your ear with ease, they are comfy, and they work to provide a bit of a suction effect, ensuring that they don’t constantly pop out while you are using your elliptical machine.
- They even come with a function button and a microphone so you can accept phone calls while working out.
- Very secure
- Quite comfy
- Noise cancelling
- Sweat resistant
- Drivers don’t last too long
These are by far the most expensive sports headphones on our list of the top best wired headphones for elliptical, but in our opinion, they are well worth the investment. They have great sound quality, they are lightweight and comfy, and best of all, they hook onto your ears very securely.
Philips Flexible Earhook Headphones: QUICK OVERVIEW
These Philips Flexible Earhook Headphones, as the name implies, are in-ear headphones, but they have an over-the-ear hook. This is very convenient when it comes to exercising because it ensures that they will stay in place and won’t fall out of your ears. The ear hooks are quite comfy and flexible, so there should be no issues there.
- The Philips Earhook Headphones are also very lightweight, which is a bonus when it comes to working out.
- The Philips Earhook Headphones might not have the soft in-ear headphones as some other options do, which is not great because it means that these things are not noise cancelling, at least not to a very high degree.
- These Philips Earhook Headphones do have pretty good sound quality overall, especially when it comes to bass and treble.
- The cable on these headphones is about 4 feet long, so it should be long enough to not get in your way or restrict your workout.
- The Philips Earhook Headphones might not be made out of titanium, but considering that they do come in at a fairly low price (when compared to high-quality professional headphones), they are quite durable and rugged.
- Durable and rugged
- Very secure fit
- Quite comfortable
- Good sound quality
- Are not noise cancelling
- Are not sweat or water resistant
When it comes down to it, the best wired headphones for elliptical that we would most highly recommend are the Philips Flexible Earhook Headphones.
Although, it might be more than you are looking to spend, in which case we would recommend the InOpera Audio Wired Sport Earbuds. They are a bit cheaper, but they still work pretty well.
